Kia produces a small crossover SUV called the Seltos. The Seltos, a mid-2019 introduction from Kia, sits in the company’s portfolio of SUVs between the Sportage and the smaller Stonic, Soul, or Sonet.

Overview of Kia Seltos
The SP Concept, which debuted at the 2018 Auto Expo in February 2018, and the SP Signature, which debuted at the 2019 Seoul Motor Show in March 2019, were the two concept cars that served as the foundation for the Seltos. SeltBoth concept automobiles closely resemble the mass-produced models currently on the market. While the SP Signature is the ideal version of the SP2 Seltos created in South Korea, the SP Concept previewed the SP2i Seltos constructed in India.
The Seltos was released in several international markets, with the exception of Europe, by the end of the year. It was first introduced on July 18, 2019, in South Korea, on August 22, 2019, in India, and on November 6, 2019, in the Philippines. On January 20, 2020, The Seltos was also introduced in Indonesia. Beginning in early 2020, the Seltos was introduced in the United States, Canada, and Mexico for the 2021 model year. In June 2020, it was also introduced in Russia.
Because of the success of larger SUV models like the Sportage and Sorento as well as the introduction of the Stonic and Xceed in the compact SUV market, Kia Motors Europe COO Emilio Herrera has stated that the carmaker would not sell the new Seltos in Europe.
The Seltos was the second-best-selling Kia model worldwide in 2020 and 2021, behind the Sportage, with India serving as its biggest single market.

Models of Kia Seltos
1.SP2 model :The version made in South Korea under the internal codename SP2 is also put together in Russia and Uzbekistan using knockdown kits. The Hyundai Kona and the Kia Soul both share a platform with the SP2 Seltos.
2.P2i model :The Seltos model, made in India and largely supplied to developing markets, is known internally as SP2i. In comparison to the SP2, the SP2i Seltos is 20 mm (0.8 in) shorter in wheelbase and 60 mm (2.4 in) shorter in length.
The hood line of the SP2i Seltos finishes by the grille, creating a continuous “clamshell” hood design, in contrast to the SP2 Seltos, whose hood line terminates behind the Kia logo. Additionally, the front end area is a little bit shorter, and the rear bumper has a flatter appearance. In addition to having a different interior dashboard design from the SP2 Seltos and the Chinese KX3, the SP2i Seltos also features a more straightforward HVAC vent design.
